Abstract:

Three boron nitride (BN)基 composites (BN-SiC-ZrO2 ,BN-Si 3 N 4 ,and BN-MgAl 2 O4 )were prepared with h-BN as the main staring material by hot-pressing at 1 800 ℃.The mechanical properties, thermal properties,phase composition,microstructure and thin strip continuous casting property were 实验ED and analyzed.The results indicate that the best side dam material is BN -Si 3 N 4 sintered at 1 800 ℃;it achieves the bending strength of 260.3 MPa,the Vickers hardness of 343.5 kg·mm -2,the thermal 前突 coefficient of 2.8 ×10 -6 ℃ -1 ,and shows no crack after thermal shock for 30 times from 1 100 ℃ to water quenching.XRD analysis indicates that the main crystal phases are h-BN,β-Si 3 N 4 and SiAlON.SEM studies show that the crystal grains are wrapped up by SiAlON.The thin strip continuous casting result 独立宣言 that the side dam specimen BN-Si 3 N 4 has better wear resistance and corrosion resistance than the fusion quartz side dam.
